The Unused Dining Room

This was SUCH a fun project! A sweet couple decided to completely overhaul the design downstairs.

Altogether it was the eat-in kitchen area, living room, playroom, entryway, and dining room. This post is all about the dining room that was just a catch-all space. The space was never used but it was also almost the first room you see when you come in the front door. It needed to be somewhere cozy and inviting. Somewhere to sit and stay a while.

I ended up selling their old table and chandelier and used those funds toward the downstairs project. Most of the decor pieces were lucky finds at HomeGoods, so I’ve added in some of my favorites that you can grab if you want to copy the look too!

Black and gold were the timeless colors that are used throughout the entire downstairs. Then the fun blue was incorporated in because the couple is calm but also so fun and I felt like the blue represented that well.

Below are the links to the products shown above. They are my affiliate links, so if purchased I will get a little bit of fun money to keep sharing interior design with you! I so appreciate the support! 💕
